Assoc. Prof. Soamarat Vilaiyuk has established a dedicated rheumatology clinic, improving care for children with rheumatic diseases over the past 17 years. She has developed a comprehensive fellowship training program, producing pediatric rheumatologists serving in major healthcare centers across Thailand.
Her research contributions have resulted in numerous international publications focusing on various aspects of JIA, SLE, and MAS. Her studies encompass biomarkers, long-term outcomes, biological treatment, quality of life assessment, and transitional care. She actively participates in global initiatives, including PRINTO, Paediatric Global Musculoskeletal Task Force, and the APLAR SIG for Pediatric Rheumatology.
Currently, Assoc. Prof. Soamarat Vilaiyuk holds several key positions, including the President of the Pediatric Rheumatology Society of Thailand, the Chair of the Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program in Thailand, and a Lecturer in Pediatric Rheumatology Division at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. Her leadership and expertise greatly influence the field of pediatric rheumatology in Thailand.
